Beloved, I submit to you that Obedience is the pathway to experiencing the best of God.

When we say “Yes” to God, He says “I will” to us.

The bible gave several promises for those who live their lives in obedience to God’s Word.

Let us share some of such blessings in today’s devotional.

“But He said, “On the contrary, blessed (happy, favored by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.” – Luke 11:28 AMP

“Blessed are those who hear God’s word and obey it.” LUKE 11:28 NIV

Beloved, obedience is more than following rules—it is trusting God with our hearts.

The Bible is full of promises for those who walk in obedience.

Here are some of the blessings that come with obedience to God:

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO GOD’S FAVOR

Obedience positions us for God’s favor and opens doors no one can shut.

“Now it shall be, if you diligently listen to and obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all of His commandments which I am commanding you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the LORD your God.” – Deuteronomy 28:1-2 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO DIVINE PROTECTION

God promises to protect you when you obey His commands.

“For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service].” – Psalms 91:11 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO PEACE OF HEART AND MIND

Obedience brings the kind of peace that comes from knowing you are in God’s will.

“Oh, that you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your peace and prosperity would have been like a [flowing] river, And your righteousness [the holiness and purity of the nation] like the [abundant] waves of the sea.” – Isaiah 48:18 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH

As you obey, you become more like Christ and stronger in your faith.

“Jesus answered, “If anyone [really] loves Me, he will keep My word (teaching); and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling place with him.” – John 14:23 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO GOD’S GUIDANCE FOR OUR LIVES.

God will direct your steps and show you the right path.

PROVERBS 3:5-6 tells us…

“Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”- Proverbs 3:5-6 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO STRONGER RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Obedience deepens your intimacy with Him.

“For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey].” – 1 John 5:3 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO VICTORY IN LIFE

God gives success and Victory to those who walk in obedience.

JOSHUA 1:8 tells us…

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.” – Joshua 1:8 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO ABUNDANT BLESSINGS

Obedience unlocks God’s blessings in every area of your life.

DEUTERONOMY 28:12 tells us…

“The LORD will open for you His good treasure house, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.” – Deuteronomy 28:12 AMP

OBEDIENCE TO GOD LEADS TO ETERNAL REWARDS

Those who obey God will receive a crown of life in eternity

“Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Be aware that the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested [in your faith], and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful to the point of death [if you must die for your faith], and I will give you the crown [consisting] of life.” Revelation 2:10 AMP
