๐Ÿ“ŒBeloved, being rooted in Christ should be the utmost desire of every believer in Christ.

To be rooted in Christ is to live out Godโ€™s Word in

Colossians 2:6โ€“7, which tells believers to remain firmly planted and built up in Jesus.

Colossians 2:6-7 AMP

โ€œTherefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and sayโ€”living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude.โ€

๐Ÿ“ŒAlso,Paul in Ephesians 3:16-17 AMP prayedโ€ฆ

โ€œMay He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely]

Continuing with how these scriptures used the tree as analogy for a believer in Christ,

Jeremiah 17:7-8 AMP tells us

โ€œBlessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the LORD And whose hope and confident expectation is the LORD. โ€œFor he will be [nourished] like a tree planted by the waters, That spreads out its roots by the river; And will not fear the heat when it comes; But its leaves will be green and moist. And it will not be anxious and concerned in a year of drought Nor stop bearing fruit.โ€

What Being Rooted Means in the life of a believer

โœ…It means Stability:

Deep roots help a tree stand strong during heavy storms. In the same way, faith in Jesus keeps you steady through hard times.

โœ…It means Nourishment:

Just as a plant draws water and nutrients from the soil, Christians draw strength, peace, and purpose from Christ daily.

โœ…It means Growth:

Being rooted is not static; it leads to a life that grows and overflows with gratitude.

๐Ÿ“ŒStaying Rooted In Christ Jesus in these passages is both an invitation and a reminder.just as we came to Christ, simple, humble and trusting, we are called to continue walking with Him in the same way every day.

๐Ÿ“ŒOur relationship with Jesus Christ is not meant to be a one time decision. But a daily ongoing connection with Him.

๐Ÿ“ŒOur relationship matures as we learn, trust, and obey. Even when growth feels slow, God is strengthening us from the inside out.

๐Ÿ“ŒAnd what is the natural result of this kind of life?

๐Ÿ“ŒOverflowing thankfulness.

๐Ÿ“ŒGratitude becomes the evidence of a heart anchored in Christ.

๐Ÿ“ŒWhen we recognize all He has done and continues to do, thanksgiving flows naturally, even in difficult seasons of life.

๐Ÿ“ŒTake a moment to reflect on where your roots are.

Are you drawing daily from Christ?

Stay connected to Him, trust His work in your life, and let gratitude overflow from your heart.

NOW LET US PRAY

๐Ÿ”ฅMost Holy and gracious God, thank You for this day in life.

๐Ÿ”ฅLord, thank You for calling us to live our lives in You.

๐Ÿ”ฅFather, grant us the grace to stay rooted and grounded in Your truth.

๐Ÿ”ฅStrengthen our faith each day and continue to build us up according to Your will.

๐Ÿ”ฅHoly Spirit, please teach us to walk closely with You and to overflow with gratitude and thankfulness in every season.

๐Ÿ”ฅAbide with us throughout this day, Lord.

๐Ÿ”ฅIn the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Have a blessed day โค๏ธ
