Beloved, I submit to you that God uses our struggles to serve as a period of character-building and refinement, preparing us to sustain and handle future blessings without being overwhelmed by them, ONLY IF we allow it.
We allow God to use our struggles when we surrender ourselves and the situation to Him even in the midst of such struggles .
Common kinds of life struggles are:
Suffering due to other peopleβs actions.(Intentional or non- intentional)
Mental and emotional health(anxiety, depression, low self-worth, overthinking, or feeling lonely).
Financial pressures(money, paying bills, managing debt, or dealing with sudden job loss).
Physical health(chronic pain, illnesses, disabilities, or lack of medical access).
Relationships(communication breakdowns, conflicts with family or co-workers, or grief from losing a loved one).
Life direction(feeling stuck in a job or unsure about the future and personal goals).
To name a few.
Some of the things that God prepare through struggles:
Character development.
Hardships build patience, perseverance, and endurance; turning your current pain into strength for tomorrow(James 1:2-4).
James 1:2-4 AMP encourages us β¦
βConsider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.β
Capacity to sustain.
Receiving a major blessing or breakthrough without proper foundation or maturity can become a heavy burden than a gift
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 AMP highlights Godβs promise on this issue:
βNow it shall be, if you diligently listen to and obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all of His commandments which I am commanding you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the LORD your God.β
Shift on perspective.
Waiting seasons teach vital lessons in trust, mindset adjustment, and daily consistency rather than just being wasted time.
Romans 5:3-5 AMP
βAnd not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. Such hope [in Godβs promises] never disappoints us, because Godβs love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.β
2 Corinthians 4:16-17 AMP encourages usβ¦
βTherefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day. For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!β

NOW LET US PRAY
Most Holy God, thank You for blessing us with this day in life.
Father, thank You for being with us, even when we struggle.
Lord, thank You for sustaining us when we are in pain and when we struggle.
Thank You Lord for using our struggles to develop us.
Holy Spirit, help us to surrender and submit ourselves and our struggles to You.
Lord Jesus, I pray that You are glorified, in our struggles.
Abide with us throughout this day, Lord
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen ![]()
Have a blessed day ![]()
