Beloved, at any given time in our lives, we could experience a broken heart.
It is important to know how to direct and process our emotions when our hearts are broken.
Personally, I run to the scripture for solace whenever my heart is broken to find nuggets of God’s promises.
I also ask that You
GO TO GOD FIRST
Before talking to people, talk to God.
Pray and ask God the details of what is hurting you:
“Lord, my heart is hurting, I give You my pain.”
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”Psalm 34:18 (NIV).
RELEASE THE PAIN, DO NOT HIDE IT
God is not afraid of your tears.
Healing begins when you stop pretending you’re okay.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)
FORGIVE — FOR YOUR PEACE
Forgiveness is not saying it didn’t hurt.
It’s choosing peace over bitterness.
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ.
God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
LET GOD REBUILD YOU
What broke you is not the end of you.
God restores what life has damaged.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3 (NTV)
TRUST THE PROCESS
Healing is a journey, not a moment.
God is working even when you don’t feel it.
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion. 1:6 (NIV)

NOW LET US PRAY
Most Holy God, thank You for another day and week in life,
Lord, heal what I cannot fix in my brokenness.
Father, help me to see things the way You see them.
Holy Spirit, help me to love the unlovable.
Restore my heart as only You can.
Give me Your peace where there was pain.
Teach me to trust You with my emotions, Lord.
In the mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day ![]()
