Human Limitations vs. Divine Power
Us humans are limited in what we are capable of on our own.
I submit to you that whether we believe it or not, we are totally dependent on God for everything in our lives.
God is our source.
Jesus speaks this as part of the “Vine and the Branches” metaphor:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (NIV)
The Bible frequently contrasts our human weakness with God’s absolute power, assuring believers that no circumstance is beyond His control.
Matthew 19:26:
Jesus famously states, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Luke 1:37:
When the angel Gabriel announced miraculous pregnancies to Mary and her relative Elizabeth, he declared, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Holy God, thank You for this beautiful day in our lives.

Holy Spirit, help us to trust You with our impossible situations.
Holy Spirit, abide with each one of us in our going in and going out throughout this today.
