Beloved, today is the beginning of our devotional series on who God is to us.
As believers in Christ, we will explore the meaning of our relationship with God our creator who has made Himself available to us through Jesus Christ in every facet of our lives.

The Word of God tells us multiple times that God is our healer.
Psalms 103:2-3 AMP tells us…
“Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases;”
Also, Jeremiah declares in Jeremiah 30:17 AMP that…
“‘For I will restore health to you And I will heal your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “This is Zion; no one seeks her and no one cares for her.”

Through Faith in Jesus Christ, God is our one and ONLY Redeemer.
Isaiah 59:20 AMP tells us…
“A Redeemer (Messiah) will come to Zion, And to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression (sin),” declares the Lord.”

The enemy of our souls, is strategic about derailing God plans in our lives. The enemy wants to steal, kill and destroy all humanity especially those who are believers in Christ.
However, God promised to deliver us, that He is our deliverer.
“But I am afflicted and needy; Come quickly to me, O God! You are my help and my rescuer; O Lord, do not delay.” – Psalms 70:5

Isaiah 40:29-31 AMP
”He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power.
Even youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.”
Also Isaiah 43:2 AMP
““When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.”

Joel 3:16 AMP
“The Lord thunders and roars from Zion And utters His voice from Jerusalem [in judgment of His enemies], And the heavens and the earth tremble and shudder; But the Lord is a refuge for His people And a stronghold [of protection] to the children of Israel.”

Jesus called us His friend in John 15:15…
“I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends, because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father.”
