– 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐔𝐒 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐒 𝐍𝐎 𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐒

Beloved, the Word of God tells us in Proverbs 6:25-26

“Do not desire (lust after) her beauty in your heart, Nor let her capture you with her eyelashes.

For on account of a prostitute (adulteress) one is reduced to a piece of bread [to be eaten up], And the immoral woman hunts [with a hook] the precious life [of a man].”

The adulteress spoken of in this verse is Satan—and he hunts down those who are precious to God (anyone of us).

We are all precious to God, because we are His creations and He loves us dearly.

The Bible gives us a vivid illustration of this in Numbers 13 and 14.

Israel had sent twelve spies to search out the Promised Land.

When the spies returned after forty days, ten of them planted three lies in the hearts of God’s people:

“There are too many people in the land. They are too strong for us.”

“The cities are walled too high. The strongholds are impregnable.”

“There are giants in the land, and we are no match for them. We’re helpless, finished!”

These lies took the heart right out of Israel. Scripture says the people endured a night of despair.

“So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night”

(Numbers 14:1). More than 2 million people were weeping, wailing, moaning—focused completely on their weaknesses and inabilities.

Beloved, the devil still lies to God’s people today.

He whispers lies like, “Your trials and temptations are too overwhelming.

You are too weak to resist the power coming against you.”

However, the Word that God spoke to Israel is also for us today.

God said in Exodus 19:5 AMP

“Now therefore, if you will in fact obey My voice and keep My covenant (agreement), then you shall be My own special possession and treasure from among all peoples [of the world], for all the earth is Mine;”

Also, Deuteronomy 14:2 tells us…

“For you are a holy people to the LORD

your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure” .

Joshua and Caleb had a revelation of their preciousness in God’s eyes.

They said;

“Because He (God) delights in us, the land is

as good as ours” (see Numbers 14:8).

Numbers 14:8 AMP

“If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.”

David had the similar revelation:

He said in Psalms 18:19 AMP

“He brought me out into a broad place; He rescued me because He was pleased with me and delighted in me.”

“He delivered me because He delighted in me” (Psalm18:19).

Beloved, likewise, every victorious Christian today has this same revelation from God through the Holy Spirit:

“We cannot fail— because we are precious to the Lord!”

𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us so.

Thank You for making us Your Treasures.

Lord, help us to focus on what matters to You.

Help us father to lean of You and trust You for guarding our lives into the center of Your will.

Abide with us Lord Jesus, at all times.
