Beloved, the Bible describes God’s calming presence as a source of strength, peace, and rest for those who seek Him.
In His love for His creation, God repeatedly promised us that He will always be present with us.
However, in order to enjoy His divine presence, we must acknowledge Him in our minds and hearts
We must believe that He is always with us as He promised.
Beloved, I donβt know about you, the mere knowledge of His presence is enough to keep us calm, no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
Isaiah 41:10 assure believers that God is with us to strengthen and uphold us.
βDo not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].β
God’s presence is so powerful it is able to calm every fear.
His presence stills our anxious heart better than anything else.
Just realizing God is with us serves as a fail-safe worry buster because there’s no other presence that has command over what stirs us up.
As believers, we must embrace this truth, acknowledging He is with us in those messy moments.
Psalms 46:1-2 AMP tells usβ¦
βGod is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,β
Whenever worry starts, we should go right to God and tell Him what we are battling.
We are to tell Him everything that concerns us and tell God what we need.
We are to pray and cry out to God for our needs.
We are to let Him calm our racing heart and stop us from spiraling emotionally.
We can overcome fear with our faith by asking for God’s help right then, right there.
