Ephesians 3:20-21 AMP tells usβ¦
βNow to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams],
according to His power that is at work within us,
to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.β
This verse is part of a passage about the freedom believers have through the Holy Spirit, which is often interpreted as freedom from sin, guilt, and the bondage of the law, leading to a transformed life in Christ.
The verse also follows a discussion about the “veil” being taken away when a person turns to the Lord, allowing them to see God’s glory more clearly.
The liberty is a result of this spiritual transformation and a new covenant through the Spirit.
This means that the freedom described is not absolute but is a spiritual liberty that comes from the presence of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers to live a holy life and be free from the power of sin.
Beloved, we have the Spirit of God inside of us; therefore we have His power to live a life without limits.
There is no mountain big enough that God cannot move for us.
There is no problem hard enough that God cannot solve for us.
There is no heart broken enough that God cannot heal for us.
There are no chains strong enough that God cannot break for us.
Nothing can keep us back from His blessings but our disobedience or lack of faith.
However, to enjoy this promise, we must step out in faith and choose to obey Godβs commandsβand watch God open the windows of heaven for us.
After all, He promised that He will do immeasurably more than we would ever dare ask of Him or imagine!
