πŸ“’Hebrews 12:14-15 AMP tells us…

⭕️ β€œContinually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification (holiness) without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎSee to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of resentment springs up and causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;”

πŸ“’James 1:19-20 AMP tells us…

β•οΈβ€œUnderstand this, my beloved brothers and sisters.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎLet everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; for the [resentful, deep-seated] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God [that standard of behavior which He requires from us].”

πŸ“’Romans 12:10 AMP tells us…

β•οΈβ€œBe devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor;”

πŸ“’Also Proverbs 15:1 AMP tells us…

β•οΈβ€œA soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger.”

πŸ“’Also Proverbs 25:15 AMP tells us…

β•οΈβ€œBy patience and a calm spirit a ruler may be persuaded, And a soft and gentle tongue breaks the bone [of resistance].”

πŸ“’Ephesians 4:31-32 AMP tells us…

β•οΈβ€œLet all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence].

πŸ‘‰πŸΎBe kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.”

πŸ“’Jesus admonished us in Matthew 5:43-45 AMP…

β•οΈβ€œβ€œYou have heard that it was said,

πŸ‘‰πŸΎ β€˜You shall love your neighbor (fellow man) and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies

πŸ‘‰πŸΎand pray for those who persecute (despitefully use) you, so that you may [show yourselves to] be the children of your Father who is in heaven;

πŸ‘‰πŸΎfor He makes His sun rise on those who are evil and on those who are good, and makes the rain fall on the righteous [those who are morally upright] and the unrighteous [the unrepentant, those who oppose Him].”

πŸ”₯Holy God, thank You for Your Word, that guides us into the center of Your will when we experience offensive actions from others.

πŸ”₯Thank You, Lord Jesus for giving us examples on how we should treat those who offend and hurt us.

πŸ”₯Holy Spirit of the living God, we submit our hearts to You. Mold our hearts to choose your will in our attitude towards those who hurt and offend us. Give us the heart of forgiveness.

πŸ”₯Lord, give us the desire to choose to glorify You with how we handle those who have offended us.

πŸ”₯Abide with us Lord Jesus at all times.

πŸ”₯In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen πŸ™πŸΎ
