Beloved, the Bible teaches that focusing on God leads to:
an unshakeable foundation,
perfect peace, and
a life that bears fruit, as it
directs our minds toward heavenly things and
fosters an intimate relationship with God through
prayer, scripture, and praise.
This focus involves putting God first in all areas of life, trusting His strength rather than our own, and seeking His will, which results in transformation and a sense of His presence and provision.
2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP tells usโฆ
โAnd we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.โ
When we focus on God alone His glory will manifest in our life in a glorious way
Those who focus on the Lord can never be ashamed, they will overcome any challenges that comes their ways and they will reign on earth.
Whatever we focus our attention on is what will dominate our thoughts and whatever dominate our thoughts is what we will become. Focus bring transformation.
When we focus on God, it means we are putting Him at the center of our lives and making him our priority. No matter what come our way, we must focus on God because He is able to help us.
When Peter focused on Jesus he was walking on the sea but as soon as he changed his focus from Jesus to the strong winds and waves around him, he immediately went from walking on the water with courage and confidence and became afraid, uncertain and began to drown.
We read in Matthew 14:28-30 AMPโฆ
โPeter replied to Him, โLord, if it is [really] You, command me to come to You on the water.โ He said, โCome!โ So Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw [the effects of] the wind, he was frightened, and he began to sink, and he cried out, โLord, save me!โโ

Inner Peace and Steadfastness:
Focusing your mind on God brings perfect peace and stability, as He is a constant, unchanging Rock.
Strength and Endurance:
You can accomplish anything through God’s strength, which helps you overcome temptations and endure life’s challenges.
Fruitful Living:
A life connected to God, like a branch to a vine, will “bear much fruit” and have lasting impact, something impossible apart from Him.
God’s Presence and Provision:
When you seek God, He promises to draw near to you, offering His constant presence and provision for your needs.

Set Your Mind on Heavenly Things:
Shift your attention from earthly concerns to things above, where Christ is.
Cultivate a Habit of Prayer:
Make prayer a regular, even continuous, part of your day to maintain a strong connection with God.
Engage with Scripture:
Meditate on God’s Word to stay focused on His will and teachings.
Seek God in Solitude:
Jesus often withdrew to private places to pray, emphasizing the importance of intimate, undisturbed communion with God to receive strength and guidance.
Trust and Dependence:
Place your trust in God’s plans, even during difficult times, and rely on His strength rather than your own.
Live Out God’s Character:
Allow God to transform your mind so you can live in a way that is pleasing to Him, exhibiting qualities like love, peace, patience, and kindness.
Serve God in spirit and in truth:
When we are focused on God, serving Him in spirit and in truth becomes our ultimate desire.
You can not be focused on God and be stranded in life.

Most Holy God, thank You for Your Word that endures for ever.
In a very busy and distracted world, our saving grace from all that the enemy throws at us is an intense and intentional FOCUS on You alone. Therefore, Lord, we need Your help to enable us to stay focused on You and not be distracted from our purpose in Your kingdom.
Father give us the grace to focus on you as Jesus did, as our example.
Holy Spirit we rely on You to help us to immediately recognize when we are distracted from focusing on God alone
Lord Jesus, abide with us at all times, as we abide in You.
