Beloved, our relationship with our God is compared to the relationship of a shepherd and the sheep in Ezekiel 34.
A shepherd surrenders his life to save his sheep, just as Jesus Christ surrendered His life for every believer.
A shepherd provides for his sheep
A shepherd protects his sheep.
The sheep know and hear the voice of the shepherd.
Thereβs a form of intimacy between the sheep and the shepherd.

β For thus says the Lord God, βBehold, I Myself will search for My flock and seek them out.β

Holy God, our good shepherd, thank You for presenting Yourself to us as our Shepherd.
Thank You for seeking after us and for finding us.
Thank You for gathering us, strengthening us in our walk with You.
Thank You for Your providence, for feeding us, protecting us and for loving us so much.
We glorify You Triune God for who You are in our lives.
Abide with us, Lord Jesus, as we abide in You.
