As believers in Christ, it is Godβs desire that we have a meaningful life.
God in His mercy did not leave us guessing in regards to what is required for a meaningful life.
The Word of God is quite clear in Micah 6:8
Micah 6:8 AMP tells usβ¦
βHe has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you;
Except to be just,
and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion),
And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?

Living justly can be defined to mean for us to:
Live with fairness,
Live with integrity, and
Live with righteousness in all our dealings.
Justice means doing what is right according to Godβs standards, not just by human standards or laws..
Think of Joseph in Egyptβhe did what was right even when falsely accused (Read Josephβs story in Genesis 39).
The question for us is:
In our daily lives, do we treat others fairly regardless of status or gain?
Practicing Justice must not be a theory but a lifestyle for us believers.

To love mercy is to have a Passion for Kindness
Loving mercy is not just doing merciful acts, but loving mercyβdelighting in showing compassion.
We are to imitate God. God doesnβt just show mercyβHe delights in it.
Micah 7:18 AMP tells usβ¦
βWho is a God like You, who forgives wickedness
And passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever, Because He [constantly] delights in mercy and lovingkindness.β
We have a good example The Good Samaritan β he went above and beyond in helping a stranger (Read about this is Luke 10:30β37).
The questions for us to answer are:
Are we quick to forgive?
Do we show mercy in our homes, workplaces, and communities?
Practicing mercy should be a Passion for us β Mercy must flow from our hearts, not just the hand.

To walk humbly with your God is setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness that we may have.
Such humility means us living in dependence on God, not pride or self-reliance.
Walking with God suggests relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit;
Walking humbly suggests living in total reverence to God the Father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
We see an example in how Enoch walked with God (Read Genesis 5:24). He lived in close fellowship and obedience.
Are we daily acknowledging our need for God? Do we surrender our will to His?
We should cultivate a heart posture of being humble β Humility is a heart-position that pleases God.
God isnβt impressed by religious rituals or outward shows. He wants us to please Him with:
Justice in our dealings
Mercy in our hearts
Humility in our walk
Let us not just say that as we follow Godβwe are to show it by the way we live.

Holy God, thank You for giving us guidance in how we can please You.
Holy Spirit of the living God, we need You to help us live our lives to please You.
We are incapable of pleasing You without Your indwelling spirit.
Lord, glorify Yourself in our lives as we lean on You to help us in obeying Your will in our lives.
Abide with us today, Jesus, as we abide in You.
In the most precious name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
Have a blessed day
