ππ ππππ! He is faithful!
Beloved, todayβs devotional is written to help each one of us when life is hard and difficult. And we wonder where is God?
I submit to you that God has not left where He has always been. He remains the same and He is faithful to His Word, especially in the book of Isaiah.
Are you grieving?
Are you hurting (Physically and emotionally) ?
Are you struggling financially?
Are you fearful?
Does it feel like there seem to be no way forward for you?
Are you doubting even the existence of God?
And do you have more questions and need answers?
Is God listening?β βDoes He see?β βDoes He care?β βHow can I know He will be there for me?β
The answers are there, in His Word.
My dear brothers and sisters, I submit to you that God is ever so faithful! If only we can believe in His Word and not doubt Him.
Our unbelief and doubts questions Godβs integrity.
God responds to those who trust and believe in Him. (Read James 1:6)

When you are weak and afraid, Isaiahβ¬ β41β¬:β10β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ encourages usβ¦
β Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].β [Acts 18:10]β

When it feels that we have fallen, Isaiahβ¬ β46β¬:β4β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ tells usβ¦
β Even to your old age I am He, And even to your advanced old age I will carry you!
I have made you, and I will carry you; Be assured I will carry you and I will save you.β

β He will swallow up death [and abolish it] for all time.

When we are fearful, Isaiahβ¬ β41β¬:β13β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ assures usβ¦
β For I the Lord your God keep hold of your right hand; [I am the Lord], Who says to you, βDo not fear, I will help you.ββ

When it seems all hope is lost, Isaiah 61: 1-3 encourages usβ¦
β The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners;
to proclaim the year of the Lordβs favor, and the day of our Godβs vengeance; to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion;
to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair.
And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify Him.β

When it seems that weβve lost our way, Isaiahβ¬ β43β¬:β1β¬-β2β¬ βAMPβ¬β¬ tells usβ¦
βBut now, this is what the Lord, your Creator says, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, βDo not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity];
I have called you by name; you are Mine! βWhen you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.β

When we feel lonely or alone, Isaiah 64: 3-4 reminds usβ¦
β When You did awesome works that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains quaked at Your presence.
From ancient times no one has heard, no one has listened, no eye has seen any God except You, who acts on behalf of the one who waits for Him.β
Praying that today you will be encouraged by His Word and by His presence in your lifeβ¦
Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdenedβ Matthew 11:28.

Precious God, thank You for all that you are in each of our lives.
Lord we praise You for meeting us at the points of our needs.
Holy Spirit of the living God, teach us and help us to believe in God and trust in Him, so that He can rise up to meet us in His power to help us.
Lord, abide with us at all times.
