Beloved, life is a series of one decision after another, therefore I personally make it a habit to pray about every decision that I have to make to seek God’s guidance because of God’s Word in James 3:17
James 3:17 AMP tells us:
”But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile].”
All through the Bible we are given instructions on what to pray when we need to make decisions. Here are some prayer points along with the scripture.

James 1:5 AMP encourages that
”If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”
𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐈 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Psalms 119:105 AMP
”Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”
Also Proverbs 6:23 AMP declares
”For the commandment is a lamp, and the teaching [of the law] is light, And reproofs (rebukes) for discipline are the way of life,”
𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐌𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 , 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐌𝐲 𝐎𝐰𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠
Proverbs 3:5-7 AMP instructs us to;
”Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil.”
𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐌𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥
In Luke 22:42 AMP, we see Jesus’ example of submitting to God’s will.
”saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup [of divine wrath] from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done.””

The Word of God commands us to do everything we do for the glory of God. This would include our decision making.
1 Corinthians 10:31 AMP
”So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God.”
