~ WE ARE VICTORIOUS BY RENEWING OUR MINDS. @everyone
Every believer is called to renew our minds in order for us to be transformed into who God intends for us to be. In the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul tells us in Romans 12:2 :
”And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs],
but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”
This transformation is:
Done by God the Holy Spirit in the believer in Christ.
It progressively changes us [as we mature spiritually]
By renewing of our minds [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes],
so that we may prove [for ourselves] what the will of God is,
that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”
Renewing our mind means interpreting life through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, rather than our own experiences or preferences.
It’s a choice to see the world, ourself, and others from a Kingdom perspective.
It’s a choice to have a heart and mind that’s more like God’s.
It’s a choice to counter negative or doubtful thoughts with God’s Word.
Other Bible verses that we can meditate on the renewing your mind include:
Colossians 3:2: Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Romans 8:5: Those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
If we can get the right mind-set through the word of God, our life can be transformed.
I submit to you that some of the greatest breakthroughs in our lives come when we find out truths in the Bible that changed our way of thinking.
Our mindset and thinking determine the trajectory of our lives.
That change in the way of thinking helps us to be victorious in many areas of our lives like:
Financial breakthroughs,
Relationships
Freedom from sickness,
Personal growth and multiplication in many areas of life.
Renewal of mind indeed brings many good things the way of the believer for a victorious life.
NOW LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for yet another day in life.
Father, I pray the You would quicken our minds to the nuggets of truths in Your Word which renew our minds for Your Glory.
Thank You, Holy Spirit for helping us through the process of renewing our minds with Your Word.
Abide with us at all times dear Lord, so we carry Your presence everywhere we go.
In Jesus Christ’s most precious name I pray. Amen
