Beloved, as we look into God’s guidance for us throughout our lives. It is important that we highlight His guidance when we experience troubles.
To be human is to experience troubling times.
God, our creator is keenly aware of our troubles and He is mighty to guide and lead us through trouble waters of life.
In fact He promised to be present with us and guide us through our troubles.
Psalm 46.1 – 7 tells us;
”God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble at its roaring. Selah. ¶
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her [His city], she will not be moved;
God will help her when the morning dawns.
The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered and were moved; He raised His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.”
PLEASE READ THE ABOVE scriptures SLOWLY.
Whenever we are in trouble, we must ALWAYS remember that God is with us to guide us through our troubles when we TRUST Him.
Here are some other scriptures on how God guides us in times of troubles.
”Jesus said in John 12:46 “I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.”
”When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. …In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul. —Micah 7:8; Psalm 94:19
”When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” —Isaiah 43:2-3
”Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil: for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1
Jesus said in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
”For thus the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said, “…In quietness and trust is your strength.” —Isaiah 30:15
NOW LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for being present with us in times of troubles.
We are grateful to seek and find the treasure of Your presence with us through it all!
Jesus, our Heavenly King and Loving Shepherd, we are ever comforted by Your guiding staff and Your rod of protection in times of troubles.
Lord, You taught that in this life we will have trials, but that You have overcome them all and we have peace resting under Your protection, power, provision and guidance.
Father, sometimes the dark places of this earth can feel like a flood of waters overtaking us, and as fire to hurt and destroy. But though the world around us is darkened, we remain safe, resting in You.
Lord, we are so very thankful to have You as the light in in our lives .
Jesus, You are ever our hope in the storm and our rock when the road before us is rough.
Father, You are our hiding place—we have no other refuge in our hour of darkness.
As we stand firmly in faith, Lord take us through every dark circumstance safely.
Holy Spirit, help us to let go of unbelief and take hold of Your promises with trust and hope in You alone..
Lord, give us the grace to trust in You completely, and let Your Word ever be our guide in trying situations.
We place our confidence in You and Your eternal love. Thank You for delighting our souls with the comfort of Your guidance through troubled times.
