The one thing that us believers can count on at ALL times is God’s faithfulness. He is the one SOLID constant in our lives, who we can depend on.
God’s covenant and promises toward those of us who are devoted to Him through faith in Jesus Christ are “Yes” and “Amen”
I don’t know about you, I can honestly confess that God has been faithful through all the ups and downs of my life during the past and present.
I am also convinced that God will be faithful in my future as well because I trust Him and I know He has a plan for my life.
God has a plan for your future as well.
Deuteronomy 7:9 AMP assures us “Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His [steadfast] lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;”
Sometimes, because of our fleshly nature, we sin against God. But in spite of out faithlessness, God remains faithful to us.
2 Timothy 2:13 AMP tells us “If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.”
We can also be confident that God will protect us from the attacks of the evil one (Satan and his cohorts).
2 Thessalonians 3:3 AMP declares a promise that says “But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.”
God’s faithfulness to His Word is the reason for our hope for a future without wavering.
Hebrews 10:23 AMP affirms “Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word];”
I encourage each one of us to devote our God given gifts to His service this coming year and beyond.
1 Peter 4:10 AMP encourages us “Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor].”
NOW LET US PRAY
Our loving God, thank You for Your faithfulness toward us throughout the past year and beyond.
Thank You for keeping and sustaining us throughout the past year.
Thank You for Your providence in each of our lives, for meeting us at the points of our individual needs.
Lord, our past, present and future are in Your capable hands. And we trust You to fulfill all Your promises and covenants in our lives.
Father, we commit our lives into Your hands in the coming year.
We commit our group, The Comforter’s Room, into Your hands. Be glorified in all that we do in the coming year as well.
GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS, LORD UNTO US. We thank You!
GOD YOU ARE AMAZING! We give You all the glory and praise.
In the most righteous name of Jesus Christ, I have prayed. Amen
Have a blessed day
