We all have different stories to tell when it comes to some of the events that have transpired in our lives. Some of us have really experienced dark moments and life experiences.
Sometimes we have lived through days where it felt as though the weight of the entire world was on our shoulders. For others, we’ve felt as though we’ve hit rock bottom, and we were isolated and forgotten even.
However, when life brings us to our knees that’s when we are at our strongest, and we are at our strongest because;
We have done all we can.
We have exhausted our own resources, and we are now at a place where we have nothing else to give.
When we reach this point, when life has brought us to our knees, this is when we must come to the same realization that Paul came to in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (ESV).
The Bible reads, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
It’s in our weakest moment that God’s strength is magnified!
It’s in your darkest moment that the light of Jesus Christ shines the brightest.
It’s only when we have reached our limit that we can truly understand how limitless our God is.
Whatever you’re facing, God’s grace is sufficient for you.
Whatever challenge you’re facing, God’s power is made perfect in your weakness.
If you feel as though you have hit rock bottom, God’s loving-kindness and His mercy are more than enough to see you through.
So, child of God, don’t give up.
Whatever hardship you face, don’t give up.
Should you feel outnumbered and overwhelmed, don’t give up because when you are weak that’s when God’s strength is best demonstrated.
Now, when you look through the Bible, you will find stories of people who, in their weakness, demonstrated incredible, supernatural strength because, at the end of their limitations, God took over.
David couldn’t defeat Goliath on his own, God took over.
The three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, couldn’t withstand a fiery furnace. God took over.
The walls of Jericho came down because God took over.
Moses and the children of Israel couldn’t cross the Red Sea until God took over.
The woman with the issue of blood couldn’t be healed until God took over.
All of these people faced different situations and they were all limited in some way.
They all had their weaknesses, but it was at their weakest moments that God’s strength was magnified.
And so beloved, here’s what I would like to tell you.
Let God take over your situation.
In your weakness, let God’s strength be magnified.
Remember that in His Word, God has said, “My grace is sufficient for you..” and “..my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Believe Him!
NOW LET US PRAY
Lord Jesus, Be glorified. Be praised.
Father, with You on my side, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses.
Lord, when I feel overwhelmed, when I feel powerless, Your Word in Philippians 4:13 (ESV) says, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
You are my source of strength.
You are my source of power, Father, and I look to You for divine intervention when I am faced with difficulties.
There is nothing impossible with You, Lord Jesus.
When I am limited, Your Word in Philippians 4:19 (ESV) says, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
You, Lord, are rich in power.
You are rich in wisdom, and there is nothing too difficult for You.
Father, You have solutions for anything and everything I could face in this world.
You have answers far beyond the resources of any expert, or any doctor, in this world.
Your ways, God, are far above and far higher than ours.
Lord, You created me and You know how to take care of me like no one else on earth. I trust You Jesus
Psalm 40:1-2 (NKJV) says: ” 1 I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.”
I pray that You will hear my cry, Lord Jesus.
When my heart is troubled, when I am weak, when I feel threatened by the enemy, hear my cry Lord.
Set my feet on higher ground and establish my steps.
Whatever challenges may come my way, let me not be daunted and apprehensive.
Give me a spirit of boldness.
Help me to realize that when I have reached my breaking point, You are the one who not only holds me together but You give me the strength to overcome.
I invite You into my life, Lord.
I invite You into my situation.
Deliver me from my troubles.
Fight on my behalf, Lord.
Make a way for me where there seems to be no way.
Give me the faith to withstand every fiery trial I face.
Give me the grace to overcome any persecution I may face.
Lord, in all that I do, as I strive to be more and more like You each day, give me the strength to fight and persevere.
Give me the strength to resist the devil, the strength to fight this flesh and my carnal, sinful nature.
Give me the strength, Lord, to stand and remain anchored in Your Word even when this world offers me many temptations.
Your Word in Romans 8:26 (ESV) says, “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
Help me in my weakness, Holy Spirit.
When I am unable to pray, when I am struggling with all that has come against me, Holy Spirit, may You intercede on my behalf.
Lord Jesus, I bless Your precious name. Thank You for hearing my prayer.
