Do Not Let Your Heart Be Troubled – By Iwalola(Lola) Ademodi

πŸ’₯Let us feast on God’s Word and meditate as we read slowly through God’s Word in Psalms 18:30-43, 46-49

πŸ”₯As for God, His way is blameless.

πŸ”₯The word of the Lord is tested [it is perfect, it is faultless];

πŸ”₯He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

πŸ”₯For who is God, but the Lord? Or who is a rock, except our God.

πŸ”₯The God who encircles me with strength And makes my way blameless?

πŸ”₯He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly and tread safely on paths of testing and trouble];

πŸ”₯He sets me [securely] upon my high places.

πŸ”₯He trains my hands for war so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

πŸ”₯You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your right hand upholds and sustains me;

πŸ”₯Your gentleness [Your gracious response when I pray] makes me great.

πŸ”₯You enlarge the path beneath me and make my steps secure so that my feet will not slip.

πŸ”₯I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and I did not turn back until they were consumed.

πŸ”₯I shattered them so that they were not able to rise; They fell [wounded] under my feet.

πŸ”₯ For You have encircled me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.

πŸ”₯ You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me [in defeat], And I silenced and destroyed those who hated me.

πŸ”₯They cried for help, but there was no one to save themβ€” Even to the Lord [they cried], but He did not answer them.

πŸ”₯ Then I beat them fine as the dust before the wind; I emptied them out as the dirt of the streets.

πŸ”₯You have rescued me from the contentions of the people; You have placed me as the head of the nations; A people whom I have not known serve me.

πŸ”₯The Lord lives, blessed be my rock; And may the God of my salvation be exalted!

πŸ”₯The God who avenges me, And subdues peoples (nations) under me.

πŸ”₯ He rescues me from my enemies; yes, You lift me up above those who rise up against me; You deliver me from the man of violence.

πŸ”₯Therefore, will I give thanks and praise You, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to Your name.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray this Psalm.

Amen and Amen πŸ™πŸΎ

WELCOME TO THURSDAY, brothers and sisters.

DO NOT LET YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED.

~ JESUS’ ENCOURAGEMENT TO BELIEVERS

πŸŒ•Beloved, as we have discussed in previous devotional, we all face troubling circumstances every now and again.

πŸŒ•In this life there will be things, events, and words spoken to and against us that will either hurt us or leave us feeling discouraged.

πŸŒ•However, there is comfort in the Lord. There is hope and healing in Jesus Christ.

✝️In John 14:1 (AMP) Jesus said, “Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me.”

πŸŒ•In Jesus Christ, you should see yourself living free from depression, from guilt, from shame, and from condemnation! In Jesus, you should see yourself living free from anxiety and stress.

πŸŒ•Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has said to us, “Do not let your heart be troubled..” How many of us obey this instruction? How many of us choose faith over fear? How many of us choose to trust in the Lord over focusing on our troubles?

πŸŒ•In Jesus Christ, you have peace, refuge and certain victory.

πŸŒ•So, if your heart is troubled today, take your burdens to the Redeemer.

πŸŒ•Take that which bothers you and lay it before the Lord. Take everything to Jesus; the pain from any stinging criticism, the pain from betrayal, or the pain of disappointments. Take it all to Jesus Christ.

✝️Psalm 147:3 (ESV) says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

πŸŒ•Please hear me and hear these truths:

πŸ‘‰πŸΎThere’s no pit so deep that God can’t lift you out of and dust you off.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎThere is nothing so dark that God’s light can’t shine into! So do not let your heart be troubled. Invite the Lord into your circumstances.

NOW LET US PRAY

πŸ”₯Loving Father, You are a holy God. Your love is unending and Your love is awesome. I pray that You will heal me, and anyone in our group with a broken heart, Lord. Mend our broken hearts.

Let us not be disheartened. Let us not be discouraged. Fill us with Your joy.

πŸ”₯Strengthen us with Your joy, Father, because Your Word says in Nehemiah 8:10 (NKJV),”…Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is

your strength.” Be with us, Lord, and give us the strength to endure the trials we face King Jesus.

John 14:1 (NIV) says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”

πŸ”₯ We receive Your words Lord. My heart is not troubled, because I belong to God Almighty. I pray that Your peace will rest upon our life. I pray for a peace that is beyond all understanding, a heavenly peace, to rest over me and cover my emotions, my soul, and for it to dwell in my spirit.

πŸ”₯ Your Word says that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning. My hope is within You, God, and I look to You as the anchor of my soul. Lord, flood every corner of my emotions.

πŸ”₯ On a personal note, Lord, I pray that the blood of Jesus remove every negative thought. You are the Good Shepherd. You are the healer of broken hearts. I call on Your great goodness and abundant grace. May it overflow in my life.

πŸ”₯ Your Word tells me to come to you when I am weary, and You will give me rest.

πŸ”₯ Father, I hold on to Your Word and promises because You say that You honor Your Word to us even above Your name. Flood my heart and mind with Your love.

❀️ Refresh my weary and burdened soul.

❀️Strengthen me in my weakness.

❀️Help me in my turmoil and heal my hurting heart, Lord Jesus.

❀️Your Word says that You heal the broken-hearted, and You are near to those who are downcast and depressed.

πŸ”₯I pray that when the storms of life are raging, Your presence will calm the rough waters, no matter the circumstance, no matter the situation.

πŸ”₯You are the rock of all ages, my strong tower and fortress.

πŸ”₯When I grow tired and weary, when I stumble and fall, I pray that Your strength will renew me.

πŸ”₯I pray that your presence would forever be with me and continuously surrounding me.

πŸ”₯You are a faithful God, and I thank You in advance for being my light in the darkest of hours.

πŸ”₯Lord, abide with us at all times and shield us from the wickedness of the wicked.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray,

Amen. πŸ™πŸΎ

Have a blessed day ❀️
