God’s sovereignty over nations:
2 Chronicles 20:6: “You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you”.
Psalm 103:19: “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all”.
Psalm 115:3: “Our God is in the heavens; He does all that He pleases”.
Psalm 135:6–7: “Praises God for overcoming Israel’s pagan neighbors and emphasizes the Lord’s control over the world.”
Isaiah 40:9-15: Emphasizes God’s sovereignty in his creation and reminds his people in exile in Babylon of his power.
Matthew 28:18: Jesus says, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth”.
James 4:15: Some say this verse tells us to believe and govern our lives by the conviction that God is sovereign over all the details of life.

NOW LET US PRAY
Sovereign God, we praise You for this day. Father, we pray for the nation of the United States. Asking You to lead guide and direct those who are in leadership positions. Help them to choose Your will in their governing. Let Your glory manifest in this land Lord.
Abide with all of us in this group today and help us along the way. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen
