God’s wisdom is Power
God’s wisdom is the power and foundation of His creation. His divine wisdom and understanding is why we exist. According to Proverbs 3:19-20 “By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.”
In one of his sermons, Charles Stanley said “Wisdom is the capacity to see things from God’s perspective and respond according to scriptural principle.”
When we acquire God’s Wisdom and respond accordingly, we are empowered to see things the way God sees them. Our lives will flow as God, our maker designed it. What a blessing it is for us in our lives to see and follow the designs of our loving Heavenly Father.
Wisdom Protects and delivers us from wicked men
We are told in Proverbs 2:12-15 that “Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.”
Wisdom delivers us from adulterous men/women.
Proverbs 2:16-17 states “Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman/man, from the wayward woman/man with her/his seductive words, who has left the partner of her/his youth and ignored the covenant she/he made before God. (Emphasis added).”
Wisdom is shield to those who walk upright.
With Wisdom you will have God’s providential protection guiding your life because He is a shield to those who walk uprightly. As we are told in Proverbs 2:6-7 “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, He guards the paths of justice (which the righteous take).”
Wisdom helps us identify the good path to follow in life.
Proverbs 2:9 says “Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. “

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, We ask according to James 1:5 that You bless us will Your Wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ, to guide and protect us in our lives.
