Are you currently worried because you are in a place of needs?
The Lord Jesus Christ, in Matthew 6:32 said to us…
“Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them.”
Beloved, whenever we are in needs, we must never forget that Jesus is our true source and provider. He makes a way for us where there seems to be none.
Another encouraging scripture about God’s providence is found in Philippians 4:19.
“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” – Philippians 4:19-20 AMP
LET US PRAY
In you, God, I have access to everything I need. When I don’t know how I will get by or get through, you miraculously provide for me. You are not slow to save or delayed in your response to me. When the Israelites wandered the desert before entering the Promised Land, they were fed straight from heaven each morning. The manna they received was incredibly provided, and they didn’t even need to ask.
In the same way, I can trust that you will supply everything I need. I don’t need to beg you to give me what I need to survive. You do it out of the goodness of your faithful heart. Your track record of provision is perfect. Why do I even worry about the essentials of my life being met? It is all delivered from your abundant storehouse. You always have more than enough. I will not go without.
My great Provider, I remember again today that everything I need is offered from your generous heart. I will not go without the sustenance I need; worry is just wasted effort. Fill me with the peace and confidence that comes from your nearness. Lord, You are everything I need. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
Have a blessed day
