Jesus said in John14:16…And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Counsellor, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.
God will never leave us comfortless.
He sent His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth to us as our Comforter. God knows all that we will face in this world and knows we can not possibly do it in our own strength.
The Holy Spirit within us empowers us to walk with God in a corrupt and dying world.
* When there is so much hate around us , He loves us.
* When there is so much negativity around us , He encourages us.
* When there are lies all around us , He shows us the truth.
* When there is so much fighting and discord around us , He gives us peace.
* He is our daily comforter – our Standby. And will be forever!
When we’re in need of God’s love, the Holy Spirit will comfort us.
LET US PRAY
Holy God, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who comforts and abides with each one of us to empower us to do Your will.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for being our Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Standby, and Strengthener.
We love
