Do you have a healthy, fearful respect for God’s power? Hopefully so. After all, God’s Word teaches us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. When you fear the Creator-and when you honor Him by obeying His commandments – you will receive God’s approval and His blessings.
Is faithfulness to the Lord your highest priority?
Have you given His Son your heart, your soul, your talents, and your time?
The answer to these questions will determine how you prioritize your days and organize your life. So today as you start your day and as you consider the opportunities that will inevitably present themselves in the future, remember this: until you acquire a healthy fear of God’s power, your education is incomplete, and so, for that matter, is your faith.
If a person fears God, he or she has no reason to fear anything else. On the other hand, if a person does not fear God, then fear becomes a way of life. – BETH MOORE
PRAY ALONG
Holy God, I am in awe of You and Your power and might Lord, I pray that my greatest fear will continue to be the fear of displeasing You. Help me to strive, Father, to obey Your commandments and seek Your will every day of my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen
