If you are a child of God, it is important for you to know that it is not a question of “If”, but “when ” you will be attacked by the enemy of your soul, Satan. Enemy fire 🔥 will come. This is because, Satan hates everything God loves, that means you and me, your family and loved ones along with everything God has blessed you with.
The Bible says that Satan’s focus and plan for our lives is to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10). We must have a strategy in our response to counter Satan’s strategy to defeat us. In the book, “The battle Plan for Prayer”, the authors outlined the strategy on how to RESPOND when you are attacked. Here is the strategy:
R – Resist Satan in the name of Jesus (James 4:7)
E – Escape with Scripture (1 Corinthians 10:13)
S – Search for unconfessed sin ( Psalm 139:23-24 NIV)
P – Plead the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7-9, Act 10:15 NIV)
O – Overtake ground given to Satan (John 8:34, Eph. 4:26-27)
N – Name someone in targeted prayer (Ephesians 6:17-19)
D – Delight in the Lord ( Psalm 27:6)
Remember that Satan IS a DEFEATED foe. Jesus Christ won the battle on the cross at Calvary, Therefore we are no longer defeated if we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and live in obedience according to His WORD.
